The heat radiates throughout the home. We can generate hot water for floor heating using a water to water (ground source) heat pump 400% more efficiently than using an electric hot water tank. Terra Geothermal can use solar collectors and/or heat pumps to produce the hot water to heat your floors and your shower. A water to water ground source heat pump transfer the heat from the ground in your yard into the floors of your house. We can put a thermostat in each room allowing for a warm bathroom and a cooler bedroom. If you have never owned and lived with warm floors and try them you will never go back. The comfort of a warm cozy floor is hard to beat, especially when you know it the most efficient way to warm your home.
Hot water can also be generated by our LG products using an Air to Water - Air Source Heat Pump. In this case hot water is generated by taking heat from the air. Unlike a water to water geothermal Ground Source Heat Pump this technology takes heat from the ambient air.
